Children will be invited to participate in “Show and Tell” experiences once a week. During this time, the child brings an item from home to show and tell (discuss and explain) the item and the experience linked to that item to his/her fellow classmates. This activity allows children to use descriptive language, promote better speaking, listening and communicative skills, as well as develop better verbal organization of information which benefits in them expressing their ideas orally, in a well thought and fluent manner. In addition, “Show and Tell” stimulates and inspires your child’s interest in a particular topic and builds confidence in sharing prized possessions.
